Alessia Maculaitis Co-Owner
Hi friends, I’m Allie, (half) the mind behind The Social Spot. Born and raised in the heart of Canton, Ohio, I ventured into the world of marketing, graduating from the University of Akron with a degree that fueled my passion.
Growing up with the ever-evolving landscape of social media, I found inspiration in its endless possibilities. Rejecting the 9-5 norm, I embraced the freedom to blend creativity, time, and marketing skills. For me, the real magic lies in building relationships—with clients who trust us and a team that's more than just coworkers; they're family.
Navigating the dynamic social media sphere is where I thrive. It's a realm of constant growth, where learning new skills, problem-solving, and staying agile amid rapid shifts keep me on my toes. Challenges? They're my playground.

Lily Lucarelli - Photographer
Hi! I’m Lily Lucarelli The Photographer for The Social Spot. Ever since I was young my parents always knew I was so infatuated with taking pictures & videos of everyone and everything around me! It is so exciting to call something that’s so creative and fun for me "work". I think my personality is a great fit to help network and grow with The Social Spot and am so excited for what’s to come!
Alyssa Cook - Social Media Manager
My name is Alyssa, and I am currently a social media manager on the team while also taking on some responsibilities as Natalie and Allies assistant! My day-to-day life as a Social Spot employee consists of making content calendars for my clients, answering comments and messages for them while also posting on their stories. I previously owned and operated my own social media company in the past and just couldn't say goodbye to the social media life! In my free time you will find me binging reality television, cuddling my dogs Dolly and Lola, or hanging out with my awesome friends and boyfriend! A fun fact about me is that I played softball in college and Marietta College, where I received my degree in Marketing. What motivates me is being able to create. Working in sales which is a predominately male dominate industry put me in a box and is very black and white. Therefore, being able to really create something and pulling from my clients' personalities is such an amazing feeling to me! My professional goals for the next year is to continue to grow with our company by taking on more clients, hopefully out of state. Another goal of mine is to work more hands-on with the sales department and bring on some of the clients that I will be working with as well! I enjoy working for The Social Spot so much. I really love surrounding myself with strong, confident entrepreneurial women is such a dream for me and hopefully something I get to do for a very long time.
Angela Lewers - Social Media Manager
As a Social Media Manager at Social Spot, I am dedicated to enhancing client business awareness across all social media platforms. My responsibilities include staying current with media trends, analyzing campaign performance, and creating engaging content through scheduling, capturing, editing, and designing.
My journey in social media began in college, where I worked with Ohio University’s Athletics Department and Brick City Records. Over the past year, I have served as a Seasonal Social Media Publisher for the Columbus Blue Jackets and currently hold the position of Social Media Coordinator at the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends and diving into the latest thriller on my Kindle. Although I initially pursued music production, I found my true passion in social media, where I can design and create visual content that garners positive feedback for businesses. My main goal is to ensure client satisfaction, build strong relationships, and help businesses shine through innovative social media strategies.
Since joining Social Spot nearly a year ago, I have grown alongside the company, constantly learning and exploring new ideas to benefit my clients. The supportive and family-like atmosphere, especially under the leadership of Natalie and Allie, has been instrumental in my development. They push us to excel while providing unwavering support, making Social Spot a fantastic place to grow and thrive as a social media manager.
